Dhruv Metals produces and exports high-strength Alloy Steel F11 Bars/Rods, specifically designed for heavy-duty applications in mechanical and structure purposes. Produced using fine–grain alloys like 31CrMoV9 or 34CrMo4, F11 grade is constructed to be utilized for case hardening purposes, offering deeper hardenability, excellent fatigue strength, and wear resistance. Conforming to DIN EN 10084 and ASTM A29 specifications, Dhruv Metals provides ground or turned finishes in different diameters and lengths. Suitable for parts that are subject to cyclic loading and abrasion on the surface, F11 rods are relied upon for their reliability, consistency, and metallurgical stability in mission-critical applications.
Alloy Steel F11 rods have ~0.15–0.20% C, ~0.8–1.2% Mn, ~0.9–1.3% Cr, and 0.2–0.3% Mo content, with occasional micro-additions of V. They are heat-treated to normalized or pre-hardened state and yield tensile strength up to ~800 MPa, yield strength of around ~550 MPa, with elongation of ~12–18%. After case-hardening surface hardness can be more than 55 HRC and still possess a tough ductile core. These rods are resistant to fatigue and wear with uniform carbon diffusion properties. The rods are well machinable and weldable, which ensures their versatility for various manufacturing paths.
