Aluminium 6082 has about 0.7–1.2% Si, 0.4–1.0% Mg, 0.4–1.0% Mn, along with small amounts of Fe, Cr, and Ti. In T6 condition, it provides a tensile strength of 260–340 MPa and a yield strength of 240 MPa, with elongation around 10–16%.
