Dhruv Metals, Hyderabad, produces and provides Beryllium Copper Bars and Rods of the finest quality, well-known for combining high strength, electrical conductivity, and non-sparking performance. Made of copper with 0.5–3% beryllium, these bars conform to ASTM B194 standards and are suitable for aerospace, oil & gas, and high-end toolmaking applications. Beryllium Copper is valued for its resilience, wear resistance, and superior fatigue life. Dhruv Metals offers these bars and rods in round, hex, or flat shapes, machined, pre-aged, or as-forged forms with uniform metallurgical quality and readiness for high-performance industrial uses.
Beryllium Copper has 0.5–3% Be, with potential Ni or Co additions. In T2 or C17200 (precipitation hardened), tensile strength is up to 1,200–1,400 MPa; yield strength ~700–1,100 MPa; elongation ~3–12%. Hardness ranges 40–50 HRC. It has high fatigue strength, corrosion resistance, and a remarkable 16–60% IACS electrical conductivity. It is non-magnetic and non-sparking on impact. Strength at high temperatures up to 315 °C is maintained. Good machinability and stability in dimensions under load ensure that it is suitable for springs, electrical contacts, and fine tools demanding both conductivity and hardness.
