70–90% Cu and 10–30% Ni with controlled Fe and Mn for increased strength and resistance are present in Copper Nickel Forgings. Tensile strengths ranging from 310–520 MPa, yield strength ~150–280 MPa, and elongation of 30–40% are offered by forgings. They exhibit low magnetic permeability and toughness retention at cryogenic temperatures.
