Duplex Steel Bright Bars are solid, rust-resistant bars from a double-phase alloy containing austenitic and ferritic stainless steels. The standard composition consists of 22–25% chromium, 4–7% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and a controlled balance of iron and nitrogen. This composition provides superior mechanical strength, tensile and yield strength, and exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Their smooth surface provides dimensional tolerance and a good finish, which is ideal for precision applications. The material has good weldability as well as toughness, which makes it ideal for applications where criticality is present in aggressive environments.
