Stainless Steel 304L Bars and Rods are made from a low-carbon austenitic stainless steel that contains around 18-20% chromium and 8-12% nickel, with a maximum carbon content of 0.03%. This lower carbon content helps reduce carbide precipitation during welding, which in turn boosts corrosion resistance in welded structures.
