Stainless Steel 347H (UNS S34709) is an austenitic stainless steel that’s stabilized with niobium (columbium) and features a higher carbon content (~0.04–0.10%) to enhance its strength at high temperatures. It generally contains 17–20% chromium, 9–13% nickel, along with trace elements like manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, and nitrogen. This alloy provides a tensile strength ranging from 515–690 MPa, a yield strength of about 205 MPa, and impressive creep resistance.
