Titanium Grade 11 (UNS R52250) is a commercially pure titanium alloy that closely resembles Grade 1, but with a slight addition of 0.12% to 0.25% palladium, which boosts its corrosion resistance, particularly in reducing and mildly oxidizing environments. The alloy consists of about 99.5% titanium, along with small amounts of iron, carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, and oxygen. It boasts a tensile strength of around 345 MPa, a yield strength of approximately 275 MPa, and excellent ductility and impact toughness. With a density of 4.51 g/cm³, Grade 11 also offers high resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion, making it perfect for demanding service environments.
