Titanium Grade 7 is a titanium alloy that mainly consists of titanium with a small amount of palladium (between 0.12% and 0.25%), which greatly boosts its corrosion resistance. This alloy is known for its excellent weldability and formability. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of about 344 MPa (50 ksi), a yield strength of around 275 MPa (40 ksi), and an elongation of 20% or more. Its remarkable corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic and chloride environments, makes it perfect for demanding applications.
