Titanium Grade 9 Bars/Rods (Ti-3Al-2.5V) consist of around 3% Aluminum, 2.5% Vanadium, and the remainder Titanium. The alloy contains a density of 4.48 g/cm³, tensile strength of about 620 MPa, and yield strength of about 483 MPa. It has good corrosion resistance, particularly in marine and chemical environments, and good formability with moderate weldability. The alloy has a strong combination of strength, flexibility, and durability and is well suited for structural and performance-oriented uses. Titanium Grade 9 is light weight, fatigue-resistant, and can be used for both cold and hot forming.
